I FIXED IT!!!


I needed to setup the UUID for the external drive. I used

"UUID=######### /mnt/usbdrive ext4 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1"

in fstab and now it reboots. Thank you for taking the time to try and fix the issue Mathias. I greatly enjoy the community you help with.
