Can't find SSID, help appreciated

Hi all,

So i bought the wireless USB adapter "TP-Link TL-WN823N". It's currently not on the "known as working"-list. I followed all the instructions up to step 8 and when I disconnect the power, remove the UTP-cable and restart the pi, i can't find the SSID. Perhaps someone can help me? Thanks in advance.
