hi,
you can edit /opt/piratebox/conf/piratebox.conf and change the line

 UPLOADFOLDER="$SHARE_FOLDER/Shared"

exchange it with the absolute path.
after changing you need to restart the PirateBox I.e

/etc/init.d/piratebox restart
