dropdown menu

i'm a happy teacher because i have now a piratebox only for me and my students!

I would modificate the menu bar in the index.html and do something like a dropdown menu.
like this
projects > project 01 and add a link to a folder
> project 02 and add a link to a folder
> project 03 and add a link to a folder

question which language have to be used to do that?
Because I tried to use the 3 www school but for the moment my tries have no succeed :(

And somebody does have an exemple?

last question the l10n script must be disabled?
